Do we have the skills required to plan and run the event?
We must first find out what are the skills required for running that sort of events. We must ask what skills we require for organizing that event. Does the team or the volunteers have the commitment required to sustain the event? The evaluation of the same needs to be done i.e. what all skills will help us and what sort of skills we already possess.
Is the host community supportive?
When organizing of events like Olympics is to be done, the community may or may not support this idea; the event organized might be in favor to some and not in favor to others. An analysis of community support must be done to take opinions of all stake holders into account.

The cost of the venue rental of the event is a key consideration to many event-organizers, because at times the venue is not affordable and if the event is still to be done there, then the entry fee will have to be higher to cover the large expense of rent. Many are tempted to set up tents, canopies to save money but this is a false saving, the later cost involved to set up, décor, and provide electricity to these tents and canopies would turn out to be costly. Moreover dismantling these setups might take longer and not to forget this duration is considered in the period of rent. Here rooms rented would prove to be cheaper, tested facility and safe for accommodation.
Will the event attract an audience?
Audience attraction is a mirror to the success of the event. Venue of the event is crucial (plays an important role in) in attracting audience. Larger audience would help us to fetch more sponsorship.
Will it attract media support?
Media support is essential. International, national media support helps the event-organizers to increase the size of the event year by year. Moreover the event-organizers should know which media agency to contact according to the nature of the event.
Is it financially viable?
If an event cannot yield benefits then it is not advisable to organize such an event. A financially viable event would attract not only investors but would also ascertain profit to the organizers. The organizer must pay careful attention to the budgeting of the event.
